Youth groups are among local groups that have volunteered their time this spring to assist The WhereHouse food ministry of the Urbana United Methodist Church.

“A lot of work goes into preparing The WhereHouse’s monthly food distribution to local families in need,” Ted Herndon, director of The WhereHouse, said. “We couldn’t do it without the giving spirit and enthusiasm of volunteers like these. We’re very thankful for their help.”

Venturing Crew 11 members, associated with Boy Scout Troop 11, with crew leader Janice Myer, are helping The WhereHouse.
