The date for the 25th annual Historic Home and Garden Tour will be the last weekend of June: Saturday, June 24, and Sunday, June 25, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Several local homes and gardens along with some local museums will be open to view that weekend along with food and craft booths and musical entertainment at some locations. Free shuttle vans will be available to take you to the various tour stops if so desired. This year’s tour will feature the Urbana and Westville areas.

The Champaign County Preservation Alliance Core Tour committee consists of Dusty Hurst, Barbara Perry, Karen White, Sandy Gonzalez, Suzanne McCoy, Rob Pollock, Cathy Harris and Janet Dye. Various volunteer assignments include Mary Mott and Ken Koch pre ticket sales; Dwight Paul transportation, historical news articles, Sherry Virts; booklet advertising, Lana Waldren; Brad Bodenmiller, program book; Matthew Smith, entertainment; tour ads, Dolly Wisma; Room Descriptions, Amanda McDaniel; Bev Swisher, volunteer guides; phone line, Janice Coffey; Mailings, Dorothy Yoder and Kathy Ryan; church bulletin fliers, Barb McKeever; Homeowner Boxes and Welcome Tent, Carol Fejes; business marquees, Lee Ann Steed; and Dana Cress, social media.
