MARYSVILLE – Michael Jordan, DO, of Memorial Urology, has been appointed medical director of the fast-growing Memorial Medical Group (MMG), the employed provider practices of Memorial Health.

Memorial Medical Group is a network of 26 physicians and mid-level providers with office locations throughout Marysville, Plain City and Urbana.

Jordan will assist with, and provide input for, the development of policies, procedures and strategy development. He also will provide leadership for employed physicians, serve as the physician liaison across Memorial’s operations and as co-chair of the Physician Advisory Committee.

Since Jordan joined MMG in 2011, he has been an active member of the Physician Advisory Committee and currently is vice chair of Surgery for the medical staff at Memorial Hospital. He is a board-certified Urological Surgeon.

A native of Dublin, he graduated from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed an internship at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, a residency in General Surgery at Garden City Hospital (Garden City, MI), and a residency in Urology at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County (Chicago, Illinois).
