The Champaign Aviation Museum is offering a lecture on Saturday, April 8 at 11:30 a.m. about the Doolittle bombing raid which took place on April 18, 1942, on Japan. This is a repeat of the lecture offered on Thursday, March 30.

The lectures are offered to the public to make them aware of this historic event which took place after the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.

The lectures reminds us what the 75th Anniversary on April 18 is all about and why 16 World War II bombers are taking off from Grimes Field on April 17 at 7 a.m.

The lectures at the Champaign Aviation Museum are free to the public.
