Each year, West Liberty-Salem hosts a fundraiser for diabetes research. Betty Dillon, grandmother of a WL-S student with diabetes, collects baked goods and desserts for a silent auction and staff members bid on desserts just in time for the holiday season. This year the fundraiser collected $1,250 to be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Christy Muhoberac accepted the money on behalf of JDRF. Shown are, front from left, Aubree Timmons, Madison Turner, Abby Timmons, Abby Dillon, back from left, Christy Muhoberac, Kristen Hall, Betty Dillon and Jillian Henry.
