At the scene, a gray 2005 Honda Civic had been traveling south-bound on North U.S. Highway 68. A witness who was also traveling south-bound behind the victim advised that they had driven into white-out conditions from the snow. The witness advised that the victim’s vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and came back onto the pavement and then lost control again, going off the right side of the roadway, sliding sideways striking a DP&L power pole on the driver’s side of the car.
