SPRINGFIELD – United Senior Services in Springfield is hosting a free Powerful Tools for Caregivers workshop presented by Kettering Health Network and the Area Agency on Aging from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Mondays starting March 6 at United Senior Services, 125 W. Main St., Springfield.

The workshop’s goal is to help caregivers take care of themselves while taking care of a friend or relative.

This program will help family caregivers reduce stress and improve self-confidence and communication skills. This six-week class does not teach hands-on care or focus on the disease process. Registration is required. Call 800-888-8362 for more information or to register.
