ST. PARIS – Graham Middle School is gearing up for the Great Kindness Challenge next week. Over the course of the week, the school will be working to raise awareness through a focus on proactive, positive youth behaviors, anti-bullying education, and celebrations of acts of respect and kindness among peers.
Students will work from a checklist and grade themselves as they attempt to perform as many acts of kindness as possible throughout the week. Some of the activities planned for the week include completing the Kindness checklist, spirit days each day of the week with a kindness theme, creation of Kindness Masterpiece of hand prints of students who participate, a kindness chain to represent every student in the building, a Kindness Counts door decorating contest, a Choir presentation with related songs during lunches, and students reading their Kindness Quotes on the morning announcements.
Submitted by the Graham school district.
