Business donates funds for veterans’ dinner


Since 2011, the Feed Our Heroes Foundation has hosted a free dinner-entertainment event for veterans the Saturday after Thanksgiving to thank them for their service. The Walter & Stowe Funeral Home presented Tom “Hollywood” Pooler, foundation founder, a check for $1,500 to pay for this year’s dinner, which was attended by over 200 veterans.
