The Champaign County Retired Teachers Association elected officers at the annual Christmas Meeting. Outgoing president Patricia Detwiler installed the new president, Karen Headlee, and re installed current Treasurer Phyllis Youtz. The offices of vice president and secretary were unfilled at that time.
The group sang carols and was surprised by a visit from Santa Claus. The next meeting is scheduled for the second Tuesday in February (the regular meeting date), Feb. 9. All retired teachers and administrators are welcome to attend the meetings. For more information, call 937-653-7777.
