West Liberty hosts Christmas in the Village

Santa once again will visit West Liberty during this year’s Christmas in the Village, set for Nov. 25-26. Activities include the 18th annual Luminary 5k Run, which starts at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25. The Christmas Parade starts at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25. The theme is “200 Years of Christmas Past,” nodding at the village’s 2017 Bicentennial. Participants are encouraged to pick any year in the past 200 years and decorate their floats accordingly. Parade entry forms can be obtained on the village website, mywestliberty.com, and submitted ahead of time or the day of. The parade line-up will be at 5:30 p.m. at Lions Park and the route ends at the firehouse, where Santa will arrive bearing gifts for the kiddos and will sit for pictures in Santa’s Workshop.
