Silent auction to provide Y memberships

0

The Champaign Family YMCA’s annual Invest in Youth Silent Auction runs from Friday afternoon, Nov. 4, to noon on Saturday, Nov. 19. All are invited to the YMCA, 191 Community Drive in Urbana, to view gift baskets, toys and games, handmade items, sporting goods, sporting event tickets and other items to be auctioned.

Bidders can get a jump-start on holiday shopping while supporting a good cause. Every dollar raised will go toward YMCA memberships for local families and youths. Each year the Y provides financial assistance to over 300 county residents thanks to community support of the Invest in Youth Silent Auction.

Individuals, organizations and businesses wishing to donate items can call the YMCA at 937-653-9622.
