WEST LIBERTY – Having just celebrated its 200th anniversary, the West Liberty United Church of Christ held a ground-breaking ceremony Sunday, Oct. 18, for a new building project that will expand the Sunday school wing and provide a much needed upstairs fellowship area accessible for everyone. The expanded room will house an enlarged kitchen area plus a new media center for presentations and movie night.
The West Liberty church has changed since the original Bethel (Muddy) Run Church was organized over 200 years ago, but its message has remained the same: God Is Still Speaking.
