NORTH LEWISBURG – No injuries were reported in a fire at a residential storage building on Wednesday.

According to the Northeast Champaign County Fire District, an electrical wire caused the fire at 112 N. Sycamore St., resulting in minor damage. The fire occurred at 6:02 p.m. Wednesday.

Units from the Allen Township Fire Department, Mechanicsburg Fire Department and Union Township Fire Department responded with the Northeast Fire District and Champaign County Sheriff’s Office.

The property is owned by Brent A. Post, according to the Champaign County auditor’s website.
