The Ohio State University Extension 4-H Youth Development Program will be offering “STEAM Academy” at the Champaign County Fair this year for youth of all ages. STEAM is utilizing and learning skills in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.
All youth, not just 4-H, members are encouraged to come and try some hands-on activities. STEAM activities will be available Saturday, Aug. 6 through Wednesday, Aug. 10 between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. STEAM Academy will be located at the 4-H Garden Area across from the Rabbit Barn on the fairgrounds. Some activities will include geocaching, magnet painting, seed bombs, and much more that will get participants excited about learning STEAM.
