The Red Cross plans to hold an “emergency blood drive” 2-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at the Champaign County Fair. Two RV-sized buses will be outside the 4-H building for those whishing to participate in this drive, planned due to a need to replenish blood supplies. Appointments can be made at 800-773-2767 or at redcrossblood.org. Walk-ins also are welcome.

This will be a Cedar Fair ticket drive, meaning every donor will receive an adult ticket good at either Cedar Point or King’s Island.
