Champaign County Animal Welfare League (CCAWL) is happy to announce the availability of Saphira, a beautiful, tri-colored Beagle. Saphira gets along with our many sizes of dogs, but can be selfish with her food at dinner time. She is 4 years old, is fine with children and loves to receive a lot of attention. Saphira is house-broken and enjoys walking on a leash. As with all Champaign County Animal Welfare League (CCAWL) pets, Saphira is completely vetted before adoption. Included in the $130 adoption donation is spaying/neutering, vaccinations including rabies, worming, heart-worm testing and treated with flea and heart-worm prevention. CCAWL adopted dogs are all micro-chipped and have their 2016 dog license and dental cleaning. The David Robert Wetzell Memorial Clinic has been up and operating for several weeks, offering low-cost spaying and neutering to the public. This Clinic is for Low Cost Sterilizations but we will be offering Low Cost Vaccination Clinics at minimum twice a year. Please call 937-834-5236 for further information and details. If the recent Independence Day celebrations have resulted in your dog running away, please check with the Champaign County dog warden and our local rescues.
