Donated treasures benefit preservation

The Champaign County Preservation Alliance’s annual Décor and More auction was held on Saturday at Mabry’s Auction Gallery, 1301 N. Main St. in Urbana. Pictured from left are Sandy Gonzalez, emcee Marty Hess of the CCPA and Mabry during a live portion of the auction. Vince Gonzalez also served as an emcee. The event raised approximately $3,750. Each year the auction includes approximately 300 items from various origins and a multitude of donors. Barbara Perry was this year’s event committee chairperson. Proceeds from the auction will fund the Commercial and Retail Façade Grant program sponsored by the CCPA.
