4-H News


On Sunday, March 13, the Creative Creatures 4H Club held the third meeting of the year. Max Morgan led the Pledge of Allegiance and Tate Harrigan led the 4H pledge. Max Morgan and Jenny Zaboroski did demonstrations. We discussed our participation in Healthy Kids Day. Henry Harrigan coordinated a dodge ball game at the end of the meeting. The next meeting will be Sunday, April 10, at 4 p.m. in the Urbana Junior High gym.

The club of Pens, Pans, and Needles met on Feb. 15 and selected the following 2016 officers: President- J.P. Kent, Vice President- Riley Nolan, Secretary- Cori Kent, Treasurer- Jennifer Wallace, Environmental Officers- Caleb Waldnig, Sydney Waldnig, Health- Kaylee Warfield, Safety- Libby Scheiderer, Nutrition Officer- Gwen Westfall, Recreation-Megan Nolan, Sammy Dean, Historians- Caroline Nott, Kate Moore, and News Reporter-Hannah Dingledine. Members were reminded that they need to register soon if they want to attend the Feb. 20 cooking clinic or the Kaps for Kids Community Service project on March 9th.
