Easter egg hunt at UHS Saturday

The annual community Easter egg hunt will take place this Saturday on the hill in front of Urbana High School.

The event will take place start promptly at 12:30 p.m. The hunt is sponsored by the Urbana Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 93 in partnership with Judge Gil Weithman and family.

Urbana Police Sgt. and FOP President Josh Jacobs said there will be over 2,500 Easter eggs which will be divided between three age groups from 1 and 10. The age groups will be ages 1 through 3, 4 through 7, and 8 through 10.

Jacobs said members of the Urbana High School National Honor Society are also assisting the hunt.
