Programming about Women’s History continues at Urbana University with a brown bag presentation at noon on Friday, March 18, in the Urbana University Swedenborg Memorial Library, 579 College Way.

Dr. Sandra Humble Johnson, poet, world adventurer and adjunct professor at Urbana University, will present “NOW.” Johnson received her doctorate from Bowling Green State University in British Romanticism. She was the first student to submit a book of poems, On Leonard Street, as a thesis for her Master’s degree at Miami University. She has published two books, The Space Between and Weight of Words. In addition to teaching at Wittenberg, Bowling Green State University and Urbana, she spent 10 years teaching in Dubai.

Everyone is invited to hear Johnson speak about her life. The event and parking are free.
