Retired Col. John W. Lanham and Mrs. Carol S. Lanham of Woodstock celebrated their 50th anniversary Oct. 18. They were married on that date in 1968 by Rev. Garhart at Maxwell Methodist Church in Maxwell, Indiana.
The Lanhams have 10 children, 32 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Lanham served 31 years in the U.S. Army.
