Gene and Shirley (Huffman) Woods of Urbana were married Dec. 2, 1967, in Urbana.
Mr. and Mrs. Woods both are retired, Mrs. Woods from Urbana City Schools.
The couple have two daughters: Dorinda Doty, Ypsilanti, MI, and Kim (Andy) Daniels, Urbana. They also have three grandchildren.
A family dinner celebration is planned.
