Donald R. and Sharon K. (Baker) Kauffman of West Liberty celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 10. They were married on that date in 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mr. Kauffman retired as the owner of Don’s Auto Service and of Kauffman Sales and Service, which he operated over 40 years in West Liberty. Mrs. Kauffman is a retired Registered Nurse and worked at Mary Rutan Hospital, The Logan County Health Department and Green Hills.
They are the parents of three sons, Don (Annie) Kauffman of Bellefontaine, Jason (Robin) Kauffman of West Liberty and Aaron (Kelly) Kauffman of Marysville. They have 10 grandchildren.
The couple celebrated their anniversary with their entire family on a weekend retreat to The Burr Oak Lodge in Glouston. The couple then took a two-week trip through the Southeastern United States.
