Bob and Becky Smith celebrated their 50th anniversary July 16. They were married at the Nazarene Church in Urbana on July 16, 1966, by Rev. Lester Meyer.
To start their celebration, Mr. Smith re-proposed to Mrs. Smith at the same North Main Street porch where he proposed 50 years ago. They continued their celebration with a family trip to Pigeon Forge, where they renewed their wedding vows, with Rev. Buddy Kenner officiating.
The Smiths are the parents of three children, Amy Blust of Sidney, Rob of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Jason of Largo, Florida. They have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
