The Champaign County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Feb. 1 for the new ATM at Farmers & Merchants State bank 120 N. Main St., Urbana. The ATM wad added during the last quarter of 2022, and is the only bank ATM located in the downtown area. F&M purchased Perpetual Federal Savings Bank in October 2021. The ATM is part of F&M’s plan to modernize the 1800s constructed building. The plan includes updates to the interior and the drive-thru area.
