SPRINGFIELD – Addie DeLong scored a game-high 22 points as Mechanicsburg beat Northeastern, 63-22, in OHC girls basketball.
The Indians led, 39-16, at the half.
For Mechanicsburg (16-3, 13-1), Olivia Skillings had 16 points.
The Indians won the jayvee game, 53-25.
Graham wins
BELLEFONTAINE – Graham knocked off Ben Logan, 48-44, in CBC/MRD girls basketball.
The Falcons led, 20-16, at the half.
Graham (6-14, 2-8) hosts Springfield on Monday.
UHS falls
LEWISTOWN – Plagued by poor shooting and foul trouble, Urbana lost to Indian Lake, 52-42, in CBC/MRD girls basketball.
The Hillclimbers trailed, 23-17, at the half.
For UHS (14-6, 7-3), Alex Dixon had 17 points and 4 assists, Peyton Mounce had 10 points and 13 rebounds and Reagan Cotner added 10 points and 7 rebounds.
Urbana, which finishes in second place in the MRD behind North Union, plays at West Jefferson Saturday night in non-league action.
Triad loses
NORTH LEWISBURG – West Jefferson downed Triad, 56-26, in OHC girls basketball.
West Jefferson led, 22-12, at the half.
For the Cardinals (3-17, 2-13), Mia LeMay had 11 points and 6 rebounds, Abbey Overfield had 6 points, 4 assists and 8 rebounds, Emma Ferguson had 6 points, 3 assists and 6 rebounds and Ashlyn McCoy added 5 rebounds.
West Jefferson won the jayvee game, 29-9. For Triad, Gracie Martin had 7 points, Bre Parsons had 13 rebounds and Olivia Hall added 4 rebounds.
Triad hosts Southeastern Saturday night.
JH basketball
In 7th grade boys basketball, WL-S upended Triad, 49-21. For the Tigers (15-0), Zade Beileski had 12 points and Zeke Longshore added 8.
