’Climbers, Indians split in bowling

The Mechanicsburg girls bowling team defeated Urbana, 2,638-2,469, in non-league action. The Indians were led by Gwen Westfall and Hannah Dingledine.

Westfall rolled a 441 with games of 267 and 174 and Dingledine rolled a 419 with games of 234 and 185.

Also for Mechanicsburg (12-1), Ashton Waller had a 191, 149 for a 340, Faith Ford a 200, 186 for a 386, Taylor Rausch a 169 and Kendall Rausch a 184.

Urbana won the boys match, 2,777-2,609.

For the Indians (9-4), Aaron Adams had a 202-242 444, Chris Ritchie a 234-208 442 and Jacob Brumfield a 190-197 387.

Urbana did not report stats.

Graham sweeps NW

Unbeaten Graham held off Northwestern, 2,998-2,916, in CBC boys bowling.

For the Falcons (14-0, 14-0), Tristan Maxwell had a 259-233 492, Spencer Hannahs a 209-266 475 and Peyton Schwierking a 205-211 416.

The Graham girls won, 2,512,-1,998.

For the Falcons (13-2, 12-2), Kailey Dowty had a 223-214 437, Gracie Astry a 182-212 394 and Maddi Murphy a 202-149 351.
