Triad girls knock off Ridgemont

NORTH LEWISBURG – Triad knocked off Ridgemont, 36-18, in non-league girls basketball.

Triad led, 24-13, at the half.

For the Cardinals (2-12), Madi Cox had 16 points, 3 steals and 6 rebounds. Emma Ferguson had 8 points, 5 steals and 3 assists, Abbey Overfield had 7 points and 9 rebounds and Ashlyn McCoy added 13 rebounds.

Triad plays at Greeneview tonight.

JH basketball

The Urbana 8th grade boys beat Kenton Ridge, 52-45. For UJHS, Grady Lantz had 28 points and Kaden Underwood added 8.

Urbana’s 7th grade boys won, 46-17. For UJHS, Roman Swain had 12 points, Crew Forson had 8 and Drew Dixon added 7.

The Urbana 7th grade girls lost to Northridge, 28-13.

The Urbana 8th grade girls won, 32-16.

WL-S’s 7th grade girls defeated Madison Plains, 25-23. For the Tigers, Arianna Weaver had 10 points and Addison Wallen added 7.

The WL-S 7th grade boys topped Madison Plains, 51-45. For the Tigers (9-0), Beckett Sullivan had 21 points, Brayan Gullett had 13,, Asher Cole had 10 and Zeke Longshore added 7.
