UHS, Graham fall in non-league football

Visiting Fort Recovery held off Urbana, 26-21, in non-league football Friday night.

Fort Recovery (1-1) jumped out to a 13-0 lead in the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Urbana quarterback Will Donahoe connected with Rayvon Rogan on a 15-yard TD pass.

In the third quarter, Landon Key caught a 47-yard scoring pass from Donahoe to cut the deficit to 26-14.

UHS’s Jonathan Hildebrand returned a fumble 15 yards for a touchdown later in the third quarter.

Donahoe completed 17 of 29 pass attempts for 179 yards.

The Hillclimbers (1-1) play at Northland this Friday night.

Minster 27, Graham 13

MINSTER – Minster rallied to beat Graham, 27-13, in non-league football Friday night.

The Falcons jumped out to a 13-0 lead on a two-yard run by Tucker Nave in the first quarter and a four-yard pass from Eli Hollingsworth to Jeff Honeycutt in the second quarter.

Graham led, 13-7, heading into the fourth quarter before Minster (1-1) scored three touchdowns.

Hollingsworth completed 15 of 33 pass attempts for 163 yards with three interceptions.

The Falcons (1-1) play at Shawnee this Friday night.
