The Champaign Aviation Museum is offering a lecture on April 13 at 10:30 a.m. about the World War II experiences of a P-61 Black Widow night fighter. The radar equipped, Northrop built airplane, was the first operational U.S. aircraft designed to fly at night as a fighter. The experiences shared by the pilot are from his days in the south Pacific during WWII.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
