Ladies’ Sodality of St. Mary Church, 228 Washington Ave. in Urbana, will host their 24th annual Home Made Christmas Bazaar from 3-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, in the church basement.
There will be home baked goods, candy, quality crafts, gift items and jewelry. Items will be raffled at 2 p.m. including a beautifully framed 33-inch-by-18-inch P. Buckley Moss print titled “Dashing Through the Snow,” an 82-inch-by-82-inch homemade quilt “Christmas Presents” in batiks, money tree, fire pit, bakery basket, chocolate basket and much more.
Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. A cabbage roll dinner will be served from 5-7 p.m. on Friday. The Knights of Columbus will be preparing and serving soup and sandwiches from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The Champaign Dulcimer Group will entertain from 10-11 a.m. Back by popular demand will be children’s games – Santa’s Ice Fishing Pond and Lollipop Christmas Tree. Come shop, eat, play and find that special gift.
