NORTH LEWISBURG – Triad Local Schools received another “clean” state audit from the Auditor of State.

Auditor Dave Yost announced Triad, and eight other entities, received the Auditor of State Award for their audits this year. Triad has received the award in the past.

“Receiving this award for the fifth year in a row is something we are all very proud of and I appreciate the hard work and dedication of the central office staff,” Triad Treasurer Connie Cohn said.

The award is presented to local governments and school districts following a completed financial audit. To receive a clean audit, the entity must file timely financial reports with the auditor’s office in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); the audit cannot contain any findings for recovery, material citations, material weaknesses, significant deficiencies, Single Audit findings or questioned costs; the entity’s management letter cannot contain comments related to ethics referrals, questioned costs less than $10,000, lack of timely report submission, reconciliation, failure to obtain a timely single audit, findings for recovery less than $100, public meetings or public records; and there cannot be other financial or other concerns that involve the entity.

Full copies of the audit reports are available at ohioauditor.gov.
