UHS alum seeks help for ill classmate

I’m a 1966 graduate of Urbana High School and writing in hopes of informing my former classmates that another needs our aid. Philip Roeth is in desperate need of a lung transplant and needs financial help. I remember Phil best in the UHS band, with a spirit that rivaled Sparky Climber’s!

I’m hopeful that at this charitable time of year anyone who is able might send a contribution to offset the costs of such a major procedure and the auxiliary expenses it entails. Contributions may be sent to Help Hope Live in honor of Philip Roeth, 2 Radnor Corporate Center, 100 Matson Ford Road, Suite 100, Radnor, Pennsylvania, 19087.

Help Hope Live is a non-profit organization for organ transplant recipients. It may be accessed online at www.helphopelive.org and typing in Philip Roeth.

My personal thanks, and Phil’s too, I’m sure.
