Graham boys fall to Tipp, 59-33

ST. PARIS – Tipp knocked off Graham, 59-33, Tuesday night in CBC non-divisional boys basketball.

The Red Devils led, 19-5, at the end of the first quarter and 31-15 at the half.

Tipp is now 2-2 overall while Graham drops to 0-4.

Triad wins

NORTH LEWISBURG – Triad beat Fairbanks, 64-47, in non-league boys basketball on Tuesday.

The Cardinals are now 3-1 overall.

WL-S girls prevail

JAMESTOWN – Jamie Peterson scored a game-high 28 points as WL-S beat Greeneview, 57-43, in OHC girls basketball.

The Tigers out-scored the Rams, 36-22, in the second half.

For the Tigers (3-1, 3-0), Lily Yoder had 11 points.

Greeneview won the jayvee game, 26-24.

Triad boys win

Triad defeated Fairbanks 64-47 in non-league boys basketball Tuesday.

Colby Watson had 23 points, while Ryan Boyd and Hadley LeVan each scored 14 points.

Triad hosts Southeastern on Friday.

UHS wins in bowling

Urbana defeated Tecumseh, 3,147-2,575, in CBC boys bowling.

For UHS, Luc Russell had a 254-227, Blaine Arms a 268-226, Kyle Schrader a 187-255, Skyler Reisinger a 234-246 and Kyle Beavers a 204-207.

The Urbana girls lost, 1,995-1,746.

For the Hillclimbers (0-4), Kayla Evans had a 175 and Brittany Gaver a 160.

The Urbana boys downed Indian Lake, 2,859-2,134.

For UHS (5-0), Reisinger had a 248-224, Russell a 206-192, Arms a 221, Schrader a 209 and Beavers a 207.

Junior high basketball

In 7th grade boys basketball, Mad River beat Urbana, 54-21.

For UJHS (0-3), Nolan Smith had 10 points.

Mad River won the 8th grade game, 34-26.

Ethan Headlee had 11 points for Urbana (1-2).
