Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center’s top administrators will receive raises, it’s governing board decided Sept. 28.

The board approved a 3.4 percent increase in Superintendent Dr. Dan Kaffenbarger’s pay and a 3 percent increase in Treasurer Matthew Ketcham’s pay at its official board meeting.

The increases were mid-contract adjustments for both administrators, Ketcham said, and were retroactive to the beginning of the contract year, Aug. 1, 2015.

Kaffenbarger’s pay went from $77,328 to $80,000 for a 156-day contract. Ketcham’s pay went from $89,312 to $92,000 for a 260-day contract.

Both administrators are in the middle of multi-year contracts.
