High school football season kicks off tonight. Local teams and marching bands have been practicing for the season opener. In the aerial picture above, Urbana High School’s band forms a “block U” during band camp at Camp Wesley near Bellefontaine earlier this month. Urbana hosts London tonight in a non-league contest and Ray DeCola, Bob Brenning and Mike Simpson will be inducted into the school’s athletic George Scott Ring of Honor. Graham travels to Tippecanoe, Mechanicsburg hosts West Jefferson, Triad travels to Indian Lake and West Liberty-Salem hosts Valley View.
