Champaign County Junior Fair judging began this week at the community center. Nutrition, scrapbooking, cake decorating, creative arts and other non-livestock projects were judged in the community center auditorium on Wednesday and Thursday.
Skillathons for livestock participants were held at the fairgrounds Wednesday and Thursday evening.
The fair opens Aug. 7 and runs through Aug. 14.
