COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The series of sports festivals co-founded by bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger will expand again to a total of six, each on a different continent.
The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1QO8L7c ) reports the actor and former California governor plans this year to attend all six.
Up first this weekend is the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, which began as the original Arnold Classic in 1989. It now includes a massive health and fitness exposition and 70 sports and events, drawing nearly 20,000 athletes.
New versions of the Arnold Classic will debut this year in Johannesburg in May and Hong Kong in August. The other festivals are in Spain, Brazil and Australia.
