NEW ALBANY, Ohio (AP) — Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (ANF) on Wednesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter earnings of $57.7 million.
The New Albany, Ohio-based company said it had profit of 85 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $1.08 per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 14 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 96 cents per share.
The teen clothing retailer posted revenue of $1.11 billion in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Nine analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.1 billion.
For the year, the company reported profit of $35.6 million, or 51 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $3.52 billion.
Abercrombie shares have climbed nearly 9 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 20 percent in the last 12 months.
