CINCINNATI (AP) — Motorists heading south into Cincinnati on Interstate 75 in southwest Ohio could encounter short-term, rolling closures during overnight hours the rest of this week.
Ohio Department of Transportation officials say equipment is being moved for ongoing highway construction and upgrade work. Authorities say the closures will show up between 11 p.m. EST and 5 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights on southbound I-75 from Ohio State Route 562 to Mitchell Avenue. That section is just north of the city.
ODOT officials say police will be on hand and message boards and signs will alert motorists to the closures. Officials say bad weather could cause changes in the work schedule.
