Friday, Jan. 13 Court hearing for Cincinnati Bengals’ Adam Jones on assault charges – Court hearing for Adam Jones, Cincinnati Bengals’ cornerback, charged with three misdemeanor charges of assault, disorderly conduct and obstructing official business. Jones allegedly pushed a security guard and poked him in the eye, and refused to comply with law enforcement officers after apparent disruptive behavior at a hotel in downtown Cincinnati on 3 Jan. He was also charged with felony harassment for allegedly spitting on a nurse at the justice center following his arrest * Jones, who was signed to a three-year $22 million deal in March 2016, has been involved in several legal incidents including a 2007 charge of felony coercion for his alleged role in a shooting, and an assault charge in 2013 of which he was acquitted
