— TODDLER DEATH-MOTHER CHARGED: A woman whose 4-year-old daughter died several days after she was found unresponsive in the bathroom of their home has been charged with murder.
— STORE CLERK KILLS SUSPECT: Prosecutors say a convenience store clerk was justified in fatally shooting a teenage robbery suspect two weeks ago in southwest Ohio and won’t be charged criminally.
— MILITARY BASE-SECURITY BREACH: A man accused of causing two buildings to be evacuated at Ohio’s largest military base after driving through a security gate is set for trial this fall.
— DIARRHEAL DISEASE-OUTBREAK: Public health officials in central Ohio have declared a community outbreak of a diarrheal disease caused by a parasite.
