Ohio theme park trying to scare up some seasonal workers

MASON, Ohio (AP) — Like scaring people? Kings Island will pay you to do that.

The theme park in southwest Ohio is interviewing for jobs for its annual Halloween Haunt that begins Sept. 23.

Hundreds of monsters will emerge from darkness to scare visitors, but the park says don’t wear horror garb during interviews.

The Cedar Fair-owned park is also hiring for seasonal jobs for ride operators, sales, food and beverage workers and more. Applicants must be at least 16.

Interviews are on weekends through Sept. 4.
