— SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION-SETTLEMENT: The Ohio School Facilities Commission and an architect will pay a contractor $2 million to settle breach of contract claims stemming from the construction of dormitories at the Ohio State School for the Blind and the Ohio School for the Deaf.
— HIT-SKIP-MOTORCYCLIST KILLED: Investigators are searching for the person behind the wheel of a car that they say fatally struck a motorcyclist and fled the scene in Cleveland.
— EXOTIC ANIMALS-CRACKDOWN: Thirteen bears seized by authorities or surrendered by owners in Ohio have a new home in Colorado
— MINIMUM WAGE-CLEVELAND: A union-backed group seeking to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour in Cleveland is asking the Ohio Supreme Court to put the issue on the November ballot.
