Reds owner Castellini to highlight Ohio college’s ceremony

CINCINNATI (AP) — An Ohio community college says more than 1,100 students will receive associate degrees or certificates this year.

Cincinnati businessman and Reds baseball team principal owner Bob Castellini will deliver the commencement address Sunday afternoon for Cincinnati State Technical and Community College ceremonies. They will be at Xavier University’s Cintas Center.

The school said Castellini will receive an honorary degree recognizing his contributions to the region’s economy and his family’s contributions to the community.

The school says the graduates range in age from 19-69, with an average age of 28. Fifty-eight percent of the graduates are women, and there are 56 international students representing 27 countries.
