Explosion uncovers meth lab at southwest Ohio house

CINCINNATI (AP) — Investigators say an explosion at a southwest Ohio home has uncovered a meth lab.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says authorities were dispatched to a report of an explosion in Anderson Township just before 6 p.m. on Sunday. Authorities say they saw two people fleeing the scene as crews arrived.

Investigators say they found the explosion was the result of a methamphetamine lab in the home’s garage.

The two people seen fleeing the area were later found at a hospital being treated for burns from the incident. It’s unclear what conditions they’re in.

Authorities didn’t immediately identify the two men.
