Hillclimbers third at Northeastern Duals

SPRINGFIELD – Urbana’s wrestling squad went 3-0 at the Jessy Reeder Duals on Friday and 2-2 on Saturday to finish 5-2 overall and claim third place.

Jaylin Cameron and Jack Harris won their classes, with Michell Moyer and Tim Sidders finishing second. Dominick Williams and Luis Ramirez were third. Harris was named the tournament’s Outstanding Wrestler.

Urbana defeated Northeastern 48-24. In that match, Austin Murray (113), Timmy Sidders (170) and Jack Harris (195) each won by pin to score six points in contested matches. Mitchell Moyer (138) and Jack DeLong (285) also won matches.

Urbana defeated Southeastern 56-6. Jaylin Cameron (120), Gavyn Grim (126), Nicholas Dorsey (152) and Jack Harris (195) all won by pin. Austin Murray (113) recorded a technical fall and Ezra Lee (132) won.

Urbana defeated Shawnee 45-30. Jaylin Cameron (120) and Gavyn Grim (126) each recorded pins. Mitchell Moyer (138) won a 5-3 decision to round out the scoring.

Covington defeated Urbana 52-24. Jaylin Cameron (120), Mitchell Moyer (138) and Jack Harris (195) won by pin.

Urbana beat Riverside 48-12. Timmy Sidders (170) won by pin.

Northwestern defeated Urbana 36-27. Jaylin Cameron (120) and Jack Harris (195) each won by pin and Ezra Lee (132) won a decision.

Urbana defeated Hillsboro 56-18. Ezra Lee (132), Mitchell Moyer (138) and Jack DeLong (285) all won by pin. Jack Harris (195) had a technical fall victory, with Nicholas Dorsey (160) winning by decision.

Graham wins Marysville Duals

MARYSVILLE – Graham went 4-0 to claim the top spot at the Marysville Duals on Saturday, with the reserve Graham “BLACK” team taking third place.

Graham’s varsity defeated Bellefontaine 80-0, Teays Valley 67-3, Westerville Central 76-3 and Marysville 72-6.

Graham BLACK beat Indian Lake 57-16, Springboro 57-21 and Teays Valley 40-36. It lost to Marysville 45-26.
