Pigskin Picks

Perfection.

We just love that word.

Yes, we went a perfect 5-0 in our picks last week to improve to 39-5 for the season.

The quest for more perfection continues …

Tonight’s Games

Urbana (1-7) at Shawnee (4-4) – The Hillclimbers will probably be glad when this season is over.

It’s not going well.

We’re picking Shawnee to win.

Greeneview (7-1) at Mechanicsburg (8-0) – This one will be the unofficial OHC game of the year, although we doubt the Rams can keep up with Kaleb Romero and Co.

We’re going with the Indians to prevail.

Northwestern (0-8) at Graham (1-7) – Northwestern hasn’t scored a point in its last two games, which should bode well for the Falcons.

We’re picking Graham to win.

Catholic Central (5-3) at Triad (1-7) – Despite its record, Triad has been getting better each week.

Central, meanwhile, has lost three of its last four games, so this one has the potential to be very close.

We’re going with Central to prevail, but not by much.

WL-S (4-4) at Southeastern (3-5) – Don’t let WL-S’s 4-4 record fool you … the Tigers could very well sneak into the playoffs if they win their last two games and get some help from a few other teams.

In other words, we’re picking WL-S to win this one.

Saturday’s Game

Urbana U. (2-5) at Charleston (2-5) – The Blue Knights let one slip away on homecoming last Saturday.

They led most of the game against West Virginia Wesleyan before falling in the final seconds, 21-20.

It doesn’t get a whole lot easier this week, since Charleston is 2-2 in its last four games.

We’re going with Charleston to prevail.
