KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Urbana University men’s soccer team has re-surfaced in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA Division II Top 25 poll, appearing in the 18th spot in the Week 6 edition released on Tuesday afternoon.

The Blue Knights were ranked 16th to start the season and bumped up to a school-record 12th in the Week 2 poll, but fell out of the rankings in Week 4. Last week, UU received two votes before earning more support this week. UU has been ranked among the top-25 teams in 10 of the previous 12 NSCAA polls.

UU is currently 8-2-1 (6-2 MEC) on the year and riding a five-game winning streak, but a huge test awaits on Wednesday as second-ranked Charleston (10-1, 6-1 MEC) comes to town. First place in the Mountain East standings and the Atlantic Region will be on the line when the two teams kick off at 4 p.m. inside UU Stadium.
